Louisiana Green Schools Program

The Louisiana Green Schools Program helps and encourages schools to reduce resource consumption and costs, improve the health and wellness of students and staff, and provide environmental and sustainability education opportunities. The program is administered through a partnership between the Louisiana Environmental Education Commission in the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, and the Louisiana Department of Education. The Louisiana Green Schools Program provides information, resources, and development opportunities for schools, teachers and students interested in green school initiatives.
