New to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, the Louisiana Bass Tournament Program is an organized, mutually beneficial method of collecting bass tournament data. Tournament organizers will provide catch data that helps fisheries management efforts. The data will be compiled and made available to anyone that wants to know the status of selected bass fisheries in Louisiana.

Any angler can benefit from the Bass Tournament Program. An annual report will be generated at the end of each year and made available online. Look for the 2013 data in early 2014. Anglers will know where to catch the heaviest stringers… or the biggest bass!
